Smoked Ono


Ono, or Wahoo is mild, flaky white fish that takes to smoke like a fish to water.

Thanks for friending me on Food Buzz! As much as I love seafood, I hardly cook it myself at home. It's not that I'm afraid of cooking with fish; it's usually out of my budget. Well, my tiny college budget anyway lol Now I know to reference here whenever the market has a sale and hope that my roommates don't throw a fit from the smell haha

Carla - That is so funny you said that about your roommates. Even in my house, most of the fish cooking is done outside. lol. Even in winter.
Nate-n-annie - That smoked ono is smoked with a fruitwood (Apple and Cherry together).
